Student made books for your classroom Wrapping Paper - Use scraps from wrapping paper to make books. You can also recycle wall paper, newspaper, and maps to make covers for books Popsicle Stick Book - You will have a room full of authors when you make these delightful books for your class. Fold 2 sheets of paper in half. Cut in half. Fold these in half. Hole punch about 1 ½" from each end. Insert a rubber band through one hole. Slide the popsicle stick through that loop. Insert the other end of the rubber band through the other hole and slide the other end of the popsicle stick through that loop to make a binding for your book. Hint! Simply fold the paper in half to make a larger book. Here are some other bindings you can use to make these books:
