December, 2007 -

Christmas waves a magic wand over the world,
and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful
.”
Norman Vincent Peale

Slow down this month to catch the enthusiasm and JOY of children! Sing a song and marvel at their hopes and dreams. And remember, sometimes the anticipation is even better than the real thing!!! The GIFTS you give them of time and attention and the memories you create may be sweeter than the toys they get at home.

I wish you all peace to deal with the high energy of the children, patience to get through all the extra projects and programs, humor to be able to laugh away frustrating moments, enough energy to have some leftover for yourself and your own family, and LOVE to find the real spirit of the season!

Jingle Bells

Chorus:
Jingle bells, jingle bells,             (Pretend to hold bells and shake.)
Jingle all the way.
Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleigh. Hey!
                                                                 (Fist in the air.)
Jingle bells, jingle bells,            (Pretend to jingle bells.)
Jingle all the way.
What fun it is to ride and sing In a one horse open sleigh.

Dashing through the snow        (Pretend to hold reins and drive
In a one horse open sleigh,                     sleigh.)
Over the fields we go,
Laughing all the way.               (Hand on stomach and laugh.)
Bells on bobtail ring,                (Pretend to drive sleigh.)
Making spirits bright.
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight.          (Chorus)
