You have to crawl before you can walk! And young children need a wide variety of small motor activities before they are ready to control a pencil and write letters and words. This month you’ll find dozens of ideas for developing small motor skills and eye hand coordination that lay the foundation for handwriting and interest in print.
As you browse through the activities this month, you may notice that we have added buttons to the bottom of each page. The Home Icon will return you to this page at any time. The Social Share Icon will let you share the activities with your friends on Facebook, Twitter and other social accounts.
Other icons allow you to use the Full Screen mode, read some Help information, and Zoom In or Zoom Out. Please take time to try out these button and decide for yourself which ones, if any, might be useful to you when visiting my web site.
If you would like to have printable copies of the files for the various parts of this month's activities, just go to the Downloads page where you will find links to all of them in PDF format.
