I’m excited to be able to introduce our new Spanish CD this month! I can’t tell you how many times people have asked, “When are you going to make another Spanish CD?” Well, I never could have done it without the talented Boca Beth (aka Beth Butler) and Mark Dye. We took some of my old songs and slowed them down, and we also created some new songs to meet your requests. “Fusion Fiesta Fun!” is a double disk CD with 26 fun songs in English and Spanish about community helpers, colors, transportation,, friends, family, body parts, shapes, letters, numbers…plus a few surprises! We chose the title “Fusion Fiesta Fun!” because that’s what our goal was. We wanted to “fuse” skills and standards in an engaging and meaningful way.
But what about French, Russian, Mandarin, and other languages? Well, there is an instrumental version that you can download off my Song Store (drjean.org) and adapt for any language you might be teaching.
In addition to the lyrics this month, you’ll find other ideas and activities you can use to reinforce learning a second language.
