LET'S DO A LITTLE BAKING AND STIRRING!
Now that you're in the mood with all this singing, how about some holiday baking?
PEPPERMINT PLAY DOUGH
(not edible)
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 cups water
2 TB. Cream of Tartar
2 TB. Vegetable oil
Several drops peppermint extract
Several drops of green food coloring
Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens and sticks to the spoon. Remove from heat, knead, and store in zip bag. Children will enjoy using cookie cutters with this dough.

REINDEER SANDWICH

Bread
Peanut butter
Raisins
Red candy (M&M)
Pretzel twists

Slice the bread in half diagonally to form a triangle. Spread peanut butter on the triangle. Put a red candy at the bottom point for the nose. Add two raisins for eyes. Break pretzel twists to look like antlers and place at the top of the triangle.

REINDEER OATS

Cheerios
Butter
Cinnamon sugar

Melt several tablespoons of butter in an electric skillet. Stir in 6 cups of Cheerios. Sprinkle on cinnamon sugar and stir several minutes until oats are slightly toasted. Serve in an ice cream cone.

* Substitute cinnamon sugar with salt and the reindeer oats will taste like popcorn!

SANTA'S HOT CHOCOLATE

Instant hot chocolate mix Miniature marshmallows Peppermint stick Prepare hot chocolate according to directions. Add 5-6 miniature marshmallows and stir with the peppermint stick. MMMM!
