Bubble
Gum
Bubble
gum, bubble gum,
(Roll hands around each other.)
Chewy, chewy, chewy, chewy, chewy
(Pretend to pull hands apart.)
Bubble gum. (Roll hands around.)
Bubble gum, bubble gum,
Chewy, chewy, chewy, chewy, chewy
(Pull hands apart.)
Bubble gum. I love it! I love it!
(Throw arms up in air.)
Chewy, chewy, chewy, chewy, chewy
Bubble gum.
I love it! I love it!
Chewy, chewy, chewy, chewy, chewy
Bubble gum.
Faster . . .
Super
fast . . .
It
Is Time to Say Good-Bye
(Tune: "She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain")
Clap
your hands.
(Clap)
Stomp your feet.
(Stomp)
It
is time to say good-bye to all my friends.
It is time to say good-bye to all my friends.
It is time to say good-bye,
Give a smile and wink your eye.
(Wink)
It is time to say good-bye to all my friends.
Good-bye, friends.
(Wave)
Yee haw!
(Put fist in air)

The
African Village Song
(Sing in sign language. Check out
sign
language web site for signs.)
When
the rain comes down,
Comes down on everyone.
When the rain comes down,
Comes down on everyone.
Rich or poor, great or small,
It really doesn't matter at all.
When the rain comes down on everyone.
Then
the sun comes down . . .
Then
the flowers bloom . . .
Activity:
This is a wonderful song to
sing in sign language.
Discuss how we all have times when
it "rains," and we have problems.
We
also have good times when the
"sun shines." How can we help each
other when we have difficult times?
Have children draw a picture of a
"good time" they remember and
a time when they were not so happy.
The song, When the Rain Comes Down, is not a
traditional African song but was written by
Bob Devlin. It was on a record called "When the
Rain Comes Down."
It has also been sung and recorded by
Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer.
