How? Registration Fee: $299 for Both Days

Each day you will receive a CD and a 120 page notebook with ideas, patterns, and projects. You will also receive a goodie bag so you can carry home all your projects. (You will receive a certificate for 10 hours
of training, but we will not be offering any CEUs.)
Morning refreshments will be served; lunch will be on your own.
Please bring your own scissors, glue, and markers, as well as 20 sheets of colored construction paper, 4 poster boards, and 10 colored file folders if you wish to stay for the make and take.
Day One - Totally Reading
If we want children to enjoy reading and writing, then we have to provide activities that will capture their interest and motivate them. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to replace worksheets with games, books, and activities that will engage students and help them succeed at their own level.
You will learn:
- Meaningful applications from reading research
- How to “sing standards”
- Rhyming and chanting your way to phonological awareness
- “Fun” phonics
- Word wall activities
- Creative ways to enhance fluency
- Vocabulary builders
- Comprehension strategies
- Blank books to reinforce reading and writing skills
- How to create a literate environment
- How to plant a “love of reading” in children’s hearts!
You will receive the Totally Reading CD with songs that support skills, plus a 120 page handbook of simple and practical activities and patterns.

"Math fever" will spread through your room in the coming year with the catchy tunes, games, and movement ideas you will learn! You'll also discover creative strategies for reinforcing skills and providing for the broad range of learners in your classroom. Plus, we'll end the day with terrific ideas for classroom management. Highlights will include:
